Введение
В соответствии с
Программой по английскому языку, в старших классах предусмотрено изучение темы
«Профессиональное самоопределение».
Выбор будущего вида
деятельности – это та проблема, которая волнует всех выпускников, которая
обсуждается разными слоями общества (дома, в школе, в подростковой среде, в
средствах массовой информации и т.д.). Именно поэтому выбор данной темы для
организации проектной работы представляется оправданным.
В основу проекта по
данной теме положена проблема самоопределения выпускника школы, проблема поиска
своего места в жизни.
Данный урок является
заключительным в серии уроков по теме «Профессиональное самоопределение».
Урок № 1. Чтение текстов.
Выделение новой лексики и активизация употребления её по теме «Профессиональная
деятельность». Ученики в группах читают тексты, отвечают на проблемные вопросы,
комментируют информацию.
Урок № 2. Углублённое
изучение темы проекты и сбор информации по теме «Знаешь ли ты себя?». Работа с
лексикой. Анкетирование. Определение своих личностных качеств. Групповое
обсуждение.
Урок № 3. Групповая
работа: составление профессиограммы. Выработка общей концепции по проблеме
«Урок профориентации: нужен ли он в школе?». Ученики доказывают свою точку
зрения с помощью аргументов за/против.
Урок № 4-5. Групповая
работа: сбор информации по проблемному вопросу: как сделать правильный выбор
профессии ?
Школьники участвуют в
ролевых играх
1. Диалог с родителями о
выборе профессии (сравнение точек зрения).
2. Интервью. Беседа с
психологом.
3. Заседание клуба
«Встреча с профессией».
4. Поиск и обсуждение
специальной литературы по теме «Выбор профессии».
Урок № 6. Групповая
работа. Ученики учатся писать Резюме, письмо-запрос, жизнеописание с помощью
учебных материалов и другой справочной литературы.
Урок № 7. Подготовка
презентации проекта. Дети создают форму презентации, планируют сценарий
представления результатов групповой работы по проекту. (Приложение 1.)
Урок № 8.
(заключительный). Презентация проекта «Кем быть?»
Объектом исследования
данного проекта
является проблема выбора профессии, процесс поиска путей, помогающих школьникам
в решении данной проблемы.
Задачи проекта:
1.
Рассмотреть
проблему выбора профессии.
2.
Выяснить
отношение к ней у различных групп населения.
3.
Развивать
активное самостоятельное мышление.
4.
Развивать
языковые, интеллектуальные и познавательные способности школьников, развивать
ценностные ориентации.
5.
Воспитывать
культуру общения, потребность в практическом использовании языка в различных
сферах деятельности.
6.
Расширить
словарный запас детей, закрепить лексико-грамматический материал, создать
возможность выражать свои собственные идеи.
Методы исследования:
1.
чтение учебной и
специальной литературы;
2.
составление
диаграммы;
3.
интервью, беседа,
анкетирование
4.
написание Резюме,
письма-запроса, рекламных объявлений.
Практическая
значимость работы
заключается в попытке, предпринятой участниками проекта, изучить вопрос поиска
путей для верного выбора будущей профессии.
Тема урока: Презентация проекта «Кем быть?»
Цель урока: обобщение результатов проектной деятельности учащихся по
теме «Кем быть?»
Задачи:
1)
показать умение
отдельных учеников и группы школьников в целом использовать приобретённый
исследовательский опыт по теме «Профессиональное самоопределение»;
2)
совершенствовать
умения аудирования, говорения и письма;
3)
воспитывать
культуру общения, развивать способность осуществлять продуктивные речевые
действия;
4)
предоставить
возможность школьникам выражать свои мысли по обсуждаемому вопросу;
5)
показать учащимся
пути, помогающие им сделать правильный выбор будущей профессии;
6)
развивать
творческие способности учащихся.
Ход урока.
1.
Вступительное
слово учителя.
This lesson is
the last one on the topic “What Would You Like To Be?”
We had several
lessons to discuss the problem and to find out the ways to choose the right
profession/
You’ve learned
a lot of new words and expressions. You’ve read much information and discussed
many ideas. Project work helped you put the language into practice. You had to
concentrate your attention not only on the language, but on the content of the tasks.
You worked individually and in small groups. You had to cooperate not only with
each other but also with the teacher. You learned to share your opinions and
ideas with your friends. Today we’ll see how successful you were in your work.
You’ll present your projects and we’ll try to answer the question: what is
important in choosing a profession ? First, we’d like to listen to this group.
Be attentive, please. Try to ask them some questions. ( Представитель 1-ой группы выходит

проекта 1 группы.
Generally, we
think that it is not easy to choose the right occupation in life in which a
person can best develop his or her talents and be successful. We feel very
strongly that it depends on many things: on a person’s ideas, what the job is
like, on qualities and skills needed for the job and his / her personal
abilities. For example, a businessman is a very popular profession, but it
requires a person to be energetic, confident, clever, ambitious, strong,
friendly, firm, self-restrained, initiative. He / she must have administrative
skills and work under pressure. Here you can see job requirements for
professions of a journalist and a militiaman / detective. (Приложение 2, которое находится на доске).
We also have
written a list of personal abilities and skills and tried to see what kind of
person we are. (Приложение 3, находится на доске).
We matched
these characteristics and job requirements. As you can see my characteristics
matches the requirements for a job of a journalist or a tour guide. And Ilya’s personal
qualities and skills suit the profession of a businessman. Well, listen to
Ilya, please. He’ll tell his story about this profession.

проекта 2-ой группы.
Учитель: Now, participants of the
second group are to report the results of their group discussion to the class.
Listen to them carefully and put down the questions that come into your mind
while listening.
Ученик: A bright and happy road
lies open before every school leaver. It’s up to us to decide what profession
to choose. It is important to choose the right occupation that suits our interests.
And we think that a talk with our parents, friends and teachers can help young
people to decide what to be. An interview with a psychologist is also of a
great importance. Our group prepared a list of questions for a job Interview
that applicants may be asked during an interview for a job. Here they are. You
can look through this list of questions to prepare yourself for a job
interview. Below it there are some tips on how to behave during interview. (Приложение 4).
During our
discussion we had to answer some questions on the choice of the future
profession. We can give an example of such conversation.

No, I
have not yet.

did you begin making plans for the future ?

I
began doing it at the age of 10 or 11.

wanted to become a doctor.

I
thought it was a noble profession. I was good at biology. I wanted to help
people who had problems with health. I knew that a doctor should be kind and
attentive to people, responsible and reasonable, honest and prudent.

Do you
understand that the time to choose your future profession has come ?
-
Yes, I
do. But it is not an easy task to make the right choice of a job.

What
did your wishes depend on ?
-
It
depended upon my parents, my friends, my parents’ friends, my teachers, of
course/
-
How
can it be ?
-
It is
up the personality of the teacher. If the physics teacher is skilled and clever
I wanted to deal with physics and to become an engineer, and so on.

Now it
seems to me you have already decided what to do. You’d like to be an engineer.
Am I right ?
-
You
see, I have not decided yet. I’m not sure. I like the profession of a
programmer too. I’m interested in computers. We are living in the age of
information. Programmers are in great need now. So, I’m not sure yet what
profession to choose.

Well,
I wish you good luck. Try to do your best to develop good traits in yourself.
And you’ll be good at your profession.

In my
opinion, important factors are job satisfaction, money and friendly atmosphere.

depends on particular field of work. But everybody prefers to work with
hard-working and sensible person.

Well, I’ll
have to think about that. In my case several professions suit me. I’d rather
choose the profession of a sales manager.
4.
Презентация
проекта 3-ей группы.
Учитель: Now, group № 3 will give
a short presentation of their ideas according to the problem of choosing the
future occupation. Do, please. And the other groups are supposed to ask at
least two questions.
Ученик: Everything that my classmates
say is really true. We agree entirely here. But we can add some more ideas
which may also help young people to find a good job. We think if a person is
looking for a job he / she can read some advertisements which give special
information about different occupations. Participants of our group present some
examples of such advertisements. They are on the blackboard. (Приложение 7)

They also give
job seekers the requirements for these jobs and education they need.
Then during
our group discussion we have learned to write Resume (Приложение 8) and a letter of application.
Resume is a written information about your personality and educational and
professional facts. Here you can see Katya’s Resume and Ilya’s letter of

present the project. You are the last in our group. I give the floor to Katya,

Ученица: To sum up everything we
discussed in our group work we decided to make a booklet “ The ways we choose”.
It looks like that. (Приложение 10)
In this
booklet one can some questionnaires: “Where Can You Work?” and “What Would You
Like To Be?” They can help him / her to define a professional field. There are
some pieces of advice what category suits someone’s personal interests and
which profession to choose. The booklet contains “The List of The Most
Prestigious Areas of Professional Activity and Jobs”/ We think that they are
Marketing and Managements, Finance, Computer Technology, Tourism< Service
and Justice. (Ученица зачитывает список профессий, относящихся к престижным видам деятельности).
Then we’ve
made a diagram “Job Requirements” and “ A List of Skills and Abilities” which
are needed to be successful in the job of a programmer, a doctor, a Cawyer, a
guide, an economist. In this booklet one can find information about spheres of
education, Labour market and Labour conditions. It also includes A List of
Questions for the first interview and advice what a person should do or should
not do during the interview/ We think that this booklet will help to make the
right choice of the future job to those who is not sure what profession to
choose.

Well, I’d like
to thank you for your work. You worked hard and showed the results of your
creative activity presenting your projects. You offered many ways that can help
young people to choose a good job. Besides, you practiced speaking and writing
English, you exchanged your ideas trying to solve the problem what is important
in choosing the right profession. I wish you to be successful in your future
job.
